DOB- 9-5-1999
Sire- Excalibur Codi 0839
Dam- 4Peruvian Violeta 6596 Candalero has a lot to offer your females and your breeding program. Candy is an extremely macho and proud Rose Grey herdsire that has proven to pass his dense fleece and excellent fiber character to his cria. The colors of his cria have ranged from rose grey, maroon, & fawn to beige and white.
Candalero is a blue ribbon winner for his gorgeous fleece ( at 4 years old! ) and his fleece is always quick to sell. His fleece is fine as he ages, even at 10 years old it makes silky soft yarn! Candalero also has a rare trait called soft rolling skin which is only found in extremely dense animals. I will never forget the day when I first met Candy and I went to feel his fleece and couldn't hardly get my fingers into it! His fleece was the first "berber carpet" fleece I had ever experienced! You will want this quality in YOUR herd!
FIBER + COLOR + QUALITY GENETICS = CANDALERO!
We are giving a FEMALE GUARANTEE with each breeding to Candy!!!
Candy's sire is the famous blue ribbon winner, Excalibur Codi. Candy exhibits the same extreme coverage and phenotype as his sire (not to mention ribbon winning ways!).
We are offering Candalero at a reduced rate again this year (was 1,000) to help
Candy, and our fellow alpaca farms out during these tough times. $500 allows you to bring your girl to our farm for her breeding (up to 2 months no board), or we can bring Candy to your farm for a mobile breeding so your girl and cria can stay at home
for an additional 50 cents/mile ( up to 250 miles from our farm).
We
are also offering Candy on a 3 month lease for the low fee of $1,000 and you are
able to breed him to as many girls as you like!
